Recreational Program

The Ebbetts Pass Youth Soccer League Recreational Program is designed to provide a fun, inclusive, and development-focused soccer experience for players of all skill levels. Our program emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love of the game in a supportive, community-based environment.

Serving families across Murphys, Angels Camp, Arnold, Copperopolis, Avery, and surrounding communities, EPYSL offers opportunities for young athletes to learn, grow, and enjoy soccer close to home.


Program Season

  • Season Dates: August 1st – October/November
  • Game Schedule: Final schedules are released closer to the start of the season

The fall recreational season aligns with the traditional youth soccer calendar and provides consistent weekly play throughout the late summer and fall months.


Game Location

All games are played at:

  • Feeney Park – Murphys, CA

Feeney Park serves as the central hub for EPYSL games and is home to local youth sports programs across the region.


Practices

Practice schedules are determined by individual team coaches and may vary by team.

  • Murphys
  • Avery
  • Arnold

Practices are typically held in the community where the majority of the team is based, but is at coach discretion.


Age Groups

The recreational program primarily serves:

  • U6 – U10 divisions

Additional teams or divisions for older players may be offered based on registration numbers and community interest each season.

Whether your child is new to soccer or continuing to build their skills, the EPYSL Recreational Program offers a welcoming and rewarding experience for all players.


Registration Information

Early Bird Registration                         

  • April 1st-30th                           
  • $25 savings on registration fee


Normal Registration                             

  • May 1st- May 31st


Late Registration                                 

  • June 1st- June 30th                 
  • $25 late Registration fee
  • Placement dependent on roster availability


New BYGA Users must be invited to create a BYGA account. A link will be provided to submit an email address when registration opens in April.


Fall Registration is closed for the 2026 season.

*EPYSL is a volunteer-run organization. Practices are dependent on a volunteer coach. If no volunteer coach is available, EPYSL may provide game-only participation or make other accommodations at the Board's discretion.*
