Families and friends cheering for their favorite players and teams are the lifeblood of the league. Everyone is encouraged to attend and lend support. Parents must, however, remember that the league does not emphasize wins and losses, but rather participation and enjoyment. Sideline cheering must respect this spirit, and be positive and supportive. Challenges to or confrontations with the referees or coaches are completely inappropriate. High spirits are great, but there is no place in youth soccer for high tempers. Parents violating these basic rules may be asked to leave a game or be banned from future games. In extreme cases parents may be required to withdraw their children from the league. Parents dissatisfied with any aspect of the league or the games should contact their area coordinator.
